APTEA Scholarship Program 2026–2027 

The APTEA Scholarship Program is now closed for the season. Applications were accepted until 11:59 p.m. on September 20, 2026, and the program is no longer accepting submissions at this time.

The scholarship application portal will reopen for the next academic year. Watch for updates on the APTEA website.

Scholarship awards will be awarded to all eligible applicants. The amount awarded to each applicant may vary depending on the number of eligible applications received and whether the applicant is enrolled in full-time or part-time studies.

Applications were required to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on September 20, 2026. Applications were date stamped when received. Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline were not considered.

Scholarship applications and supporting documentation will be reviewed by the APTEA Scholarship Committee.

Approved scholarship awards will be issued by e-transfer by September 30, 2026 to the email address provided by the applicant.
Eligibility Requirements

The applicant may be:

• A voting APTEA member;
  • The legal spouse of an eligible APTEA member; or
  • A dependent child or grandchild under the age of 25 of an eligible APTEA member.

The APTEA member must have been a paid member for at least 12 months prior to the application deadline. Proof of relationship may be required.

The applicant must have provided written proof of acceptance or enrolment in full-time or part-time studies at an accredited post-secondary institution for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Eligible institutions include universities, colleges, trade schools, and technical schools.

Acceptable proof may include:

• A letter of enrollment
• Proof of payment of tuition or fees

Applicants are encouraged to keep a copy of all documents submitted with their application.

Applicants will be notified by email of their scholarship award. Scholarship payments will be issued by e-transfer to the email address provided on the application.

APTEA may publish the names of scholarship recipients and the names of the associated APTEA members on the APTEA website following completion of the scholarship process..
