APTEA Scholarship Awards 2025–2026
APTEA is proud to support the educational goals of our members and their families. Applications for the 2025–2026 APTEA Scholarships are now open.

Full-Time Studies Scholarship Awards
Support for students enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution.
Who Can Apply?
- APTEA Members
- Legal Spouse of an APTEA member
- Dependent Children or Grandchildren under 25
Member must have been active for at least 12 months prior to the draw.
Awards Available
- Up to 60 scholarships of $500 each
- Awarded by random draw
Requirements
- Must provide written proof of full-time enrollment in an accredited post-secondary program
- Must complete the online application form
Application Deadline
October 31, 2025 @ 11:59 PM
Draw Date
November 13, 2025, following the APTEA Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Part-Time Studies Scholarship Awards
Support for APTEA members pursuing courses or programs that enhance their professional development.
Who Can Apply?
- APTEA Members Only
- Must be a paid member for at least 12 months prior to the draw
Awards Available
- 2 x $500 – Meredith Helgeson Awards
- 1 x $500 – TD Insurance Meloche Monnex Award
- Total of 3 awards available
- Awarded by random draw
Requirements
- Course/program must relate to your role at The City of Calgary
- Must provide proof of payment (e.g. course receipt)
- Course must begin within 1 year of the draw date

October 31, 2025 @ 11:59 PM
Draw Date
November 13, 2025, following the APTEA Annual General Meeting (AGM)
How to Apply (Both Scholarships)
- Submit the online application form
- Email supporting documents to:

- Part-Time: Proof of payment (receipt)
Additional Information
- All applications must be complete and received before the deadline
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
- Winners will be notified by email and posted on www.aptea.org
- Awards will be distributed by e-transfer to the email provided on the application form
